Birther Interrupts House Reading Of Constitution, Yells ‘Help Us Jesus’ (VIDEO)

VIA: TPM

An apparent member of the birther movement seated in the gallery of the House of Representatives on Thursday interrupted a reading of the Constitution. The woman yelled out “Except Obama, except Obama, help us Jesus!” as Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) read the “natural born citizen” clause of the Constitution.

The woman screamed out from the House Gallery as Pallone read Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution, which reads that “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”

Members of the birther movement contend that President Barack Obama was born in Kenya and is not eligible for the office.

The Sergeant at Arms was called in, as they are in charge of removing those creating a disturbance on the House floor. An officer told the woman she was under arrest and removed her from the gallery as she yelled out “My name is Theresa,” Politico reported.

Dear Tea Party: You will now get yours

By Mark Morford, SF Gate Columnist

And now, hot on the heels of our recent letter to whiny young Democrats, a loving shout-out to all those moderates and independents, confused conservatives and hard-line Repubs who went just a little more than slightly insane this past election.

To all of you who either flip-flopped your wishy-washy ideals and switched your vote from bluish to reddish this past election because Obama and the lukewarm Dems failed to solve all world problems in 700 days, or because you got yourself so emotionally riled up/mentally watered down by the sexy caveman grunts of the Tea Party that you actually bought the BS line about being “mad as hell” about nothing even remotely coherent.

Here is your grand message: You are hereby wonderfully, thoroughly screwed.

Oh darling, it’s so very true. The fun-filled news is, despite all the bluster and rhetoric, thinly veiled racism and rampant Islamophobia on display, the new army of jittery, anti-everything GOP bobbleheads that you just voted into office doesn’t care a single iota about you, or your haphazard values, or what you sometimes occasionally stand for. And what’s more, deep down, you secretly know it.

Are you slightly offended? Are you scowling and mistrustful of the notion? I’m delighted to hear it. Also: It doesn’t really matter.

You don’t have to believe me. Just wait until nothing at all is done to service the Tea Party non-agenda, because it’s ridiculous and impossible to service. Just wait until you note how there is no actual shrinking of government, no restoring some bogus sepia-toned idealism that never existed, no saving of your job. There is, of course, but one GOP agenda: furthering their personal stranglehold on all things powermad and avaricious.

Congressman: Tea Partiers said to ‘Go Back to Mexico’

Texas Observer columnist Melissa Del Bosque wrote in a column a “group of Tea Party activists in Washington D.C. recently told two Hispanic Texas border congressmen to ‘Go back to Mexico’ as they were on their way to vote on the House floor.”

Here’s an excerpt from her column:

Apparently, even elected officials should be carrying their documents these days. Even when they’re on their way to vote in the U.S. Congress.

Congressman Ruben Hinojosa talked about the incident during a recent Q&A session at the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, according to the Rio Grande Guardian:

Hinojosa, D-Mercedes, said he and Congressman Silvestre Reyes, D-El Paso, were confronted by five Tea Party supporters. “There were five men, all white,” Hinojosa said.

“They first asked Silvestre Reyes, ‘Are you a congressman?’ ‘Yes, I’m from Texas,’ he answered. ‘Are you both congressmen?’ ‘Yes, I am a congressman too,’ Hinojosa replied. ‘Why don’t you go back to Mexico?,’” they said.

The prevailing attitude isn’t much better on the House floor. Like much of America, Congress is also becoming increasingly divisive and reactionary about Latino issues including immigration. Hinojosa told the audience in Edinburg about this exchange with the Tea Partiers after people asked in the audience why the DREAM Act, which would have provided a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrant students, was killed in Congress.

The Guardian reporter apparenlty asked a follow-up question about the incident:

Asked about the “Go back to Mexico” incident later, Hinojosa told the Guardian: “It was an insult. It shows the extra challenges those of us who want change, who want to improve the quality of life for women and minorities, have.”

Tea Party member at the 9/11 mosque protest screaming “kill all the muslims”

Via: rahjongg
Here is a tea-partier at the anti-”ground zero” mosque hosted by Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer of Stop the Islamization of America, yesterday on 9/11/2010. Here we can see how at least *some* of the people there are rascist and obviously using the mosque as a subterfuge for basicially advocating a pogram or a genocide of the whole muslim religion or God knows what they want. Feel free to use this video anywhere and i have a lot more just please send me a link so i can see if i am making a difference.

Here is the woman at the end of the other video. People were saying she was the voice of reason for this man’s racist rant.
Link
in fact she was the worst. The camera was turned off because she started to hit me with her sign, screaming “he is a muslim, here is another one get him, get him out of here” while she hides her face in shame

*a little background to this, this happened while Pamela Geller was speaking and a Muslim man was just standing their listening, he had no sign and was not speaking, they started yelling at him ” you are in the wrong place” while I got my camera out and caught what happened next

Just imagine and replace the word “Muslim” with “Christian” or even better to show my point “Jew” how is this Okay to say about muslims?

The Truth Behind “Burn A Koran Day”

By now I’m sure you’ve heard of The Dove World Outreach Center’s plan to burn a stack of Korans on September 11th. You can’t go anywhere without someone talking about it. Even Gen. Petraeus has condemned the actions along with most of the conservative media. So why is Pastor Terry Jones still going through with it? Well, we dug into the story and found out, straight from the bigots mouth which led us in the right direction.

An anti Islamic protest on one of the greatest terrorist attacks on our nations history would kind of make sense maybe shortly after said attacks or maybe even after a year or two, but 9 years? Why so long? Why now is Islam such a dangerous threat to our nation that he needs to bring attention to it with this inflammatory stunt? Why the 9 year anniversary and not the 10 year, or even the 5. An anniversary with more significance. Why didn’t they do this last year? After all, they started sending their kids to school with anti Islam shirts, it seems a Koran burning would have fit that momentum nicely.

According to the blog for the Center, they are having some financial trouble. It seems that the bank is trying to foreclose on their property for lack of payment although the North Carolina Muslim angle that Terry portrays is more entertaining. From their website:
