The Time Has Come to Make Glenn Beck President, Says Clown Lady

Most Americans want Glenn Beck to be our next president and return us to prosperity. The only hiccup? Getting him to run! Fortunately, the clown lady in this video is circulating a petition to change all that.

Her name is Robin Potwora, and the website for her “grassroots organization,” Main Street Bites Back, features a number of terrifying robot-voiced videos of illustrated political figures, including the hated Barack Obama.

Why is she so excited about Glenn Beck being president in three years? Because he is “our generation’s George Washington”:

Glenn Beck doesn’t want to be president! Neither did George Washington and look how that turned out!

When will Glenn Beck receive our invitation to be a presidential candidate? A formal invitation will be presented to him in 1/2011.

What if Glenn Beck declines our invitation to be a presidential candidate in 2012? Consequently the petition will serve as a thank you to him for all he has done for us.

Will Glenn Beck know that I signed the petition? Yes, the name of every person who signs the petition will appear either on the invitation or in the video.

How can I help? Send people to our website to sign the petition, collect signatures and send them to us through email or call them into us by phone. Send us 50 signatures and we’ll mail you an exclusive ‘Back Beck 2012′ T-shirt!

Consumer Vents At Target For Right-Wing Donation

Last week Target Corporation gave $150,000 to Minnesota Forward, which i using the money to run TV ads for Republican Tom Emmer’s campaign for Minnesota governor. Emmer has connections to anti-gay groups. This donation, clearly acceptible under the new Citizens United Supreme Court ruling angered many in the state, seeing this as a $150,000 contribution to fund ant-gay politics. One Eden Prairie mom and grandmother took her anger directly to a Target. Her repeated attempts to get to Target executives failed so she took her Target Charge Card. A $226 purchase on that card was immediately returned for credit and she scissored her Target card into little pieces to be used no more,

Stop Socialism now!

By buying aluminum siding from this guy. That makes sense right? I had no idea aluminum siding was effective against secular socialists.

Thanks Terrell, we already figured out your completely non-relevant religious affiliation from the Jesus fish in your logo. Why reiterate it? That’s sort of like reminding people that you have a harelip, or steal dirty panties from the local laundromat.

Tea-Baggers Fall For Fake Onion Story

An old video from The Onion revealing a hyperbolic martial law bill was recently rediscovered by conservatives, and began to pop up on right-wing Facebook walls. Congratulations tea-baggers, you fell for a 3-year-old joke.

BP confirms it lobbied bomber release

BP admitted on July 15th that it had lobbied the British government in 2007, prior to the to release of Lockerbie bomber, for an agreement to turn over a number of prisoners to Libya, as negotiations between the two countries over the issue were impeding a contract allowing BP to drill in Libyan offshore deep waters.

Shortly after, Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, convicted for the 1988 bombing of an airline jet over Lockerbie, Scotland that killed 270 people, mostly Americans, was released in August of 2009 on compassionate grounds after a medical diagnosis that he was unlikely to survive more than three months from cancer. Nearly a year later, he’s not only still alive, but his doctor has now declared he could live another decade.

President Obama expressed the outrage felt by Americans not only over the decision to release Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, but over the evidence the British owned petroleum company BP played an active role in obtaining the terrorist bomber’s release.

‘I think all of us here in the United States were surprised, disappointed and angry about the release of the Lockerbie bomber,’ he said, and added the diplomatic hope that ‘the key thing to understand here is that we’ve got a British prime minister who shares our anger over the decision. And so I’m fully supportive of Prime Minister Cameron’s efforts to gain a better understanding of it.’
