An Open Letter To The Conservative Movement
This letter was sent to us by a user who asked that it be posted to point out the shortfalls and hypocracy of the conservatives and republicans.
It’s amazing to me how the Republicans (re-treads)/Conservatives cherry-pick information, play-on emotions, and rely on fear-based tactics to forward their cause and gain support.
Let’s see if I can get your attention….TERRORISM!!!! There…. I should have your attention now: (lol)
1) You blame Obama and the dems for everything (who’s been president for how long?), yet you chose to ignore the previous 8 years leading up to the economy’s downfall and two wars. That would be like adopting a troubled teen and blaming the current parents for the teen’s problems! Makes sense?
2) You feel the “invisible hand” will always solve our problems and you support small government, deregulation, and tax cuts. But you ignore the fact that we have NEVER been a TRUE free market. (examples: Bailouts: instead of letting companies fail. Socialism:Medicare, Social Security, and law enforcement paid with public funding). Think of our economy as a hybrid automobile: If the gas portion, free market, OR the electric portion, socialism (yes we HAVE had socialistic-pieces in our economy for decades), of the hybrid automobile fails, what do you have left? A car that is no longer feasibly functional (see broken). It _will_ run; but it will run poorly. There is a balance of free market AND socialism in our economy. Our economy is a hybrid! So stop using the word socialism as though it is something dirty, unless you are prepared to loose the socialistic pieces I have mentioned. And don’t call our market a “free market” because it is not. (See also: tariffs)

Tea Party “Patriots” Attack Family Who Lost Daughter
A group called the Chicago Tea Party Patriots publicly heckled a grieving family and suggested that the couple fabricated their tragic story.
At a town hall held by Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.) on Nov. 14,, Dan and Midge Hough spoke about how they believed the death of their daughter-in-law and her unborn child were caused, in part, by a lack of health insurance. Twenty-four-year old Jennifer was uninsured. According to her in-laws, she was not receiving regular prenatal care and was not properly treated when she got sick. She ended up in an emergency room with double pneumonia that developed into septic shock, had a heart attack, a brain bleed and a stroke. The baby died and Jennifer died a few weeks later.
Midge Hough was heckled by anti-reform crowd members. “You can laugh at me, that’s okay,” she said, crying. “But I lost two people, and I know you think that’s funny, that’s okay.”

Palin quits book signing halfway through
Does anyone see a pattern here?
From the Indy Star comes a story about how Palin had contracted to sign 1000 books but left halfway through the event leaving about 400 people upset.
From the article:
Despite their booing and shouting, several who were turned away said they blame Borders, not Palin.
Seems like Republicans are the abused wives who keep making excuses for their abusive husbands of the political world.
Palin was there early, and left with a cramped hand and fussy child, which is reasonable. But really, seeking to blame anyone is amusing, and Palin not following the rules her lil book promo campaign came up with falls on her shoulders, not the bookstore.
TEA Party: The Movie
As laughable as it is, sadly, this is not a parody. It’s an actual preview for an actual movie about the tea party movement:
The best part is how they keep showing the black guy at different angles to make it looks like there’s more than one.

MSNBC Interviews Clueless Sarah Palin Supporters At Book Signing
The dumbfounded look on this lady’s face is awesome. Then the guy tries to defend it. All in all they come across looking, like most Palin fans, uninformed.
